CANYON KIDS MOM

Here are Pam, Drew and his Mom. They are on there way to Los Angeles. They drove all the way from Greensboro NC to LA. They were all very brave to do this,especially Mom. They also had Weezer the cat in the car. they now reside happliy in the Hollywood Hills area of LA.
We are goin gout next month to see them all,via a jet. Also we are going to go to MEXICO!!

Oulu Finland

Here is a picture of Oulu Finland, near the railway station area. Pam went to college for a semester here.
We went over and visited her. This was around the late November time frame, so it was a little cold and dark. Everyone had fun though. We took five flights to get there,two on Finnair.

TRICKS OR TREATS

Here is a photo of Bob and Mark clowning around on halloween. We have about 100 to 150 trick-or-treaters every year in our neighborhood. So we depend very much on our friends to help us pass out hot cider and candies. We love the little kids., thats why we do it.

Here we have pictures of animals that are not yet residing at our house,yet.mostly because pounce and mittens is in the golden state.WE do have a black bear that visits once in a while. He plays rough with the big green garbage can.There are dogs and cats that live in our house.

This is the Navy ship that Bobert was on. Try to imagine that there are waves beaking over the bow(the pointy end up front). Huge green water waves ,full of below freezing water. Then imagine some crazy AG2 up on the signal bridge. ah ,well.. those were the days....

This is a waterfall in the DuPont forest southwest of Asheville. There is a very nice hike down to the falls and you can get right up to them.Not a good place to bring dogs. In the summer you can sit behind the falls and cool off.

This is an icy picture of one of the lakes around Asheville,NC, where we live.Bobert has been know to mountian bike in this kind of weather. Helen sensibly stays home with the animals in front of a roaring fire.For some reason the forest is strangley empty.
